HOB Race 4A motley crew of maidens 8 looks on recent form to lead, 4 dog returning from a spell has shown some early speed, 1 dog is maybe the most consistent at distance but wants wide and very slow early as are the 2 and 3 early as well

HOB Race 5The 8 dog looks likely to lead and thru 2nd split, not much else to say about the maidens HOB Race 6The 2 dog was a FTP last start, has heaps of ability maybe with a lot more early speed will make it chase

HOB Race 7Looks a problem for the 8 being a touch slow early and wide in this sort of race, the 3 looks likely to lead, will need to hang on

HOB Race 86 looks to lead early and cross rails gives the 7 a clean run early HOB Race 9The 3 dog is poorly drawn inside, an both the 4 an 5 have good early speed. Mike Clarke from Tas racing in his preview noted "Race 9 Breakdown: HE’S UNDER WRAPS (3) drops in grade on his past couple of runs over the 461m and his best times compare well here. A concern could be his tendency to race wide and an inside draw which may cause him some issues at the turn. LYNCAR BLUE BOY (2) does his best from inside boxes and should get some cover early from the three. He placed here from this draw recently in steady time, but a similar effort may be good enough to achieve the same result in this race." Mike is playing the 2 dog a place countering that there will be interference the 6 and 7 are both run home types as per the 2 dog. The 1 dog has once led and ran a rating of 100 it's about the odds this race.
