shipton: once you know their running style, you just wait till they get a nice box position and maybe a cheap grade, then you can wager, and your right Phil "can't win them all" but we also don't have to wager them all :) Oct 15, 2024 8:13:36 GMT *
shipton: darling danger is like the rest of the litter it needs room, it gets to centre track early, then it starts to push on down the back looking positive, it gets caught under another dog and you can see it's dynamics change to just bumping and trying to push Oct 15, 2024 8:12:05 GMT
phil: guest, a case of "can't win them all" shippers is doing OK as far as real chances go, you cannot beat proven performance combined with class and time. Oct 15, 2024 6:24:23 GMT
guest: Not this time for the emergency, but shipton had the rest of the races nailed pretty much. Oct 14, 2024 11:17:44 GMT
shipton: r5 the 600m was looking for something that wasn't there as moee would say or something similiar Oct 14, 2024 11:10:15 GMT
shipton: there often forgotten and they can change the dynamics of a race Oct 14, 2024 8:09:28 GMT
guest: someone here put me onto betting on emergencies at good odds, I like the 9 each way at current odds. Oct 14, 2024 7:51:50 GMT
shipton: did a market r7, talk about cambers the #7 needs the camber in the run to T1 to get that speed up into the back straight, whereas the #1 will use its raw speed, both will struggle with the 515m but i'm leaning the 7 with better odds Oct 14, 2024 7:06:23 GMT
shipton: the 1 and 4 are just too short, so there is a lot of appeal in the others, the 4 has the time up its sleeve, whereas the 1 dog doesn't I feel, plus drawn rails you need raw speed no favours from the cambers Oct 14, 2024 7:03:19 GMT
shipton: yes, it was a better option then the littermate in the #6, no doubt it can run the 515m well , the difference has been on the two turns it runs that lil bit wider , you add a couple of metres each turn , you can take the equivalent of its projected rating Oct 14, 2024 7:00:08 GMT
Visitor: Punters giving #9 a chance, they must know something, or just they don't trust the rest of the dogs? Never raced the distance, lot of difference between 461 M and 600 M Oct 14, 2024 6:53:34 GMT
shipton: posted r4 jpeg with some comments Oct 13, 2024 10:55:29 GMT
shipton: so i just moved on and left my notes as "the early WIN markets may be wrong for the 1 and 4" Oct 13, 2024 8:51:39 GMT
shipton: at LCN, so that created some doubt, the 8 could lead but has been done for FTP if it finds the lead early what happens, the 2 could challenge the lead early is what I hoped and then the Q's and doubts kept coming up and up and there is no real clarity Oct 13, 2024 8:48:28 GMT
shipton: same as the 1 dog who has been beaten a few times by some of the other runners, so thats where I thought there may have been some opportunity, but as I went thru the others tagline had beaten supreme leader fair and square over hob599, but doesnt replicate Oct 13, 2024 8:44:38 GMT
shipton: I don't mind opinions visitor pull me up anytime. Initially I just put the race thru my auto "public data" markets and the 1 and 4 come up a lot shorter, naturally the 4 doesn't really like to win so I thought it was taking a lot of market %'s, Oct 13, 2024 8:42:20 GMT *
Visitor: Two ways of looking spending time on a race. Is it an open race and you want to give your best shot of getting predictions right, or is it a mess of a race with many chances and unpredictable dogs? In the latter case leave it alone. My opinion only. Oct 13, 2024 7:50:22 GMT
shipton: scratchings have changed r3 have amended market to some degree, dynamics of race has changed moreso Oct 7, 2024 5:04:28 GMT
shipton: put thursdays result sheet up, track played on the slow side Oct 5, 2024 11:57:07 GMT
shipton: Thanks visitor, the 340 races made up for the ordinary wagering 461 races Oct 3, 2024 22:07:44 GMT
