I'm trialling a new system which shows a bit of a promise, see if the forum curse will kill it? Win mostly but each way should be OK Warnambool r6 #14 ARTIE'S SHORE
Gossford r7 #11 CENTURY BOY
Rockhampton r1 #4 LOVE THE BUSH

I have tested this for this year and it showed a POT of minimum 20% but there are longish outs so I keep posting them with the $ in and out record.

Only the one selection today and even this is outside the criteria by one point only so I post it with a ? mark. In my long search for the holy grail I found that a lot of systems work and yet punters lose money using them. The reason is that in search for more bets they dilute the systems, like this one where you could ask "what difference can one point make?" If this one point difference in qualifying is disregarded then we might forgo the distance restrictions or price restriction and soon instead of having a winning system we have a dud, losing one.
I forgot to mention that on a county track bet for win only! On provincial tracks it also shows a small profit for the place so EAW could be used but I'd recommend win only. In testing the max. Win divvy was less than $16 and only twice so there isn't much point going higher but I leave this open.
Mudgee race 7 #12 DOMINICO Country track! Win only!
edit I have re-run the system with this one point difference and as I suspected the POT dropped 4% on the country tracks and more than 6% on prov. tracks. It makes sense because I already tweaked the system to best strike rate/profit and number of bets combination. I don't think I'm going to continue with posting this as I realised that although the system is in profit, there was a period of prolonged outs that many would not put up with. For me it makes no never mind as this is but one of my systems and where this one fails to perform an other one takes up the slack.
