well that day certainly didn't go according to plan!
really need to look at my exotic strategy
my ratings told me the first fours later in the day were the ones to muck about with and it proved incorrect

interesting event the first race
the 2 has had 2 starts for 2 seconds over the 416m at strath, could be one to watch at odds
5 - slow out, but does run on, id be looking at betting this for the place
7 - is quicker than the rest of these and just a little bit of luck it should go close
8 - well boxed out wide, is a very wide runner. we managed to correctly predict it would fail 2 starts ago from box 1 when fav. it can run into a place, but don't go taking any short odds on this, id be needing close to $10 win

we jagged a mistake bet at Bendigo and are now in a solid profit for the year at the moment
will update it tomorrow after tonights winners
race 1 - 3-4-2 - look the only runners really needed here. I would look at the exacta here boxed up and then 3/2,4
race 2 - 5 is the top pick. if wanting to play exotics 1,2,4,8 are needed
r3 - 3 - hit it mainly place here
r4 - 8 - looks solid from out wide, just needs to cross and it should
race 8 - 2,3,4 look the best winning hopes and the 8 can be in the exotics. boxing these up 2,3,4,8 should results in a positive result
race 9 - look for the 2 to lead and win here and 1 looks a good hope to run a place behind it. beware only 2 divs
race 10 - 3 - the lack of early pace really does help this runner, it should be able to LAW

Some nice results last night helped build up the bank
running at a profit of $271.
there have been various ideas floated around with target betting between myself and a few mates.
Aim for $70 per day =$490 per week tax free.
Just a $70 bet on a runner at $2 to win or place
or aim for $100day for $700 week $2800 month
why oh why is it never that easy in practice!!!

2 - 2 looks suited to the inside, look mainly place
r4 - 4-1-6 look the winnin hopes and the 9 could be a roughy for exotics
r5 - 8 ran 2nd from this box at t/d last week. best dog but not suited to this distance
r6 - 7 to run past the 3 which will be the early leader, 8,5,6 for exotics
r8 - 6 on top here, hopefully it can lead. the only real dangers for the lead are the 1 and to a lesser extent the 4. the 2 should be included in exotics, but wouldn't be too concerned with it winning. 5 is one who will be slow out and could be running on at the end if there is any trouble up front
r11 - 1 not the best dog in this race, but with a lack of pace in the race, I feel this may be left out in front from the rails. we could snare good odds on this.
