Here are my thoughts for the first couple of races for HVL.
Race 1
#1 and #3 have had trainer changes, which has seen them improve their performances. The 1 prefers the rails, the 3 dog likes centre of track has the best 2nd sections looks like it may lead , 7 dog went up with lids last start in that race ran the best 2nd sections now stepping up to longer should suit but it did move to centre/rails.
I'm preferring the 3,1,7,8. The 2 dog will move wide off track, 8 stays centre, 5 heads to rails, 6 goes wide
Race 2
Early leaders appears to be the 7,4 and 1, the 7 who will try an cross to rails, the 1 dog is poorly drawn as it will head wide, as is the 4 who will head wide, to me the 3 looks just too strong for these dogs just needs the 4 to give it room early- the 6 wants wide but tends slow early, 8 heads to rails. for mine 3-6-7-4
Race 3
4 dog last week ran one of the best 1st splits ever, not sure if it can repeat, if it does it wins, failing that they are all very even at the start except the 5,6,7,8 all head hard to the rails, 1 2,3, head straight up. for mine 5-4-7 with not much separating them
Race 4
1 is poorly drawn will fade at end of race, really nothing separates the 2,3,4,5,8 . The early leader appears to be the 5 dog who wants wide, the 4 normally heads to the rails and the 6 is a slow beginner, 2 should head centre of track. The 3 dog went up with lids last week and recorded one the best 2nd sections at the track, but it was slow early in it's first race. There is only 1 metre separating these top 5 dogs look for value
