Mick, the only completely safe and legal way to do that is to set up a Remote desktop connection before you leave. Drawback is that you have to make sure that the home base computer remains on and online. You can do this by using the software Windows provides but your OS has to be at least pro or ultimate, wont work on home version and can be a bitch to set up. I use this "http://www.ammyy.com/en/" has a free version as well and zero setup required. The other option is using VPN but it's not a legal way, the only reason the authorities overlook its use is lack of manpower due to the sheer number of users, but if you are in their sight for some other reason they will grab you. It's a myth that it provides anonymity, it does not, in the end all traffic goes through your own ISP and if people with the power want to they get your record, not to mention that the mere fact of using VPN is in itself suspicious.
If you are hell bent to bet online form a prohibited country and too late to set up an RDC then I think using VPN should be a safe enough option provided you keep in mind the above.
Good luck and enjoy your holiday, don't know how you have time to think of gambling?
Just to make it clear, there are legit uses for VPNs, I'm talking here about the ones trying to hide your identity and location!

Hi JB yeah well Luxbet is smarter than VPNs, staying here for one more month and was itching for a bet, paid for a month VPN, connects OK to lux but as soon as I login I get this message,
"LOCATION ERROR
Luxbet are concerned with the security of all of our customer’s accounts and have systems and procedures in place to protect our customers. The location from which you are currently accessing your Luxbet account from has been identified as a jurisdiction that presents an unacceptable level of commercial risk to Luxbet and unfortunately we are not prepared to offer you wagering services from that location at this time."
the only way is to connect is to do that thingo with the server comp at home but I have give that a miss as I'm not traveling that often and too late now anyway. Thanks

Thanks Sorry Mick, can't add a lot to it, these are the facts as you found them. The authorities don't give a fig about d...heads invading private forums and Netflix and like using VPN. These are private commercial matters, sort it out yourselves they say, but when it comes to the law of the land it's a different matter. Beware! You are lucky Luxbet is cautious, other bookies are not as scrupulous, most will take your bets from anywhere and let you suffer the consequences. For info here is the list of prohibited countries.
