Hi scripting, started this thread easier to refer back to prev. shouts
To start with it's not my program I only got the exe version you have to ask John B about the workings of it.
The track I was referring to is Wagga in particular, where the dogs with the highest ranking in placed on track doing extremely well, I thought so anyway.
Wagga 724 races top sel. in the race ie most placed on track win $-28.1 Plc $-43.2
Second sel. win $5 Plc $-28.9
Longest out for toppy 29 for win and 9 for place for the second 34 for win and 10 for place
Similar results for the winningest dogs on track but no positive just low negative.
There were a few others none of the majors though. Not a bad result for one criterion, if you think about it

Placing BB's shout here in case you are interested and it gets pushed out of sight.
BB: is if you can get those pivot factors that are uncorrelated with tote SP.
BB: efficiently, and by that example you need to know when to "not bet Box 1" 36% of the time to break even. If you keep trying to find the factor with the "best" strike rate, you'll go insane - same with looking for simple "in profit" scenarios. The real test
BB: Your goal should be to clean the best factors, or make them more efficient. If Factor = Box, Rule = Only Back Box 1, and Result = SR of 20% and Avg. Div. of $3.2, you have a 36 unit loss over 100 wagers. You need to find a way to use Factor + Rule more
